Website visitor pixel
Add this line before </head> on your website. Your key is under Settings → Website pixel.
<script async src="https://readybuyerfinder.com/p.js" data-key="pk_your_key"></script>
What it records
- the page URL and referrer
- an anonymous visitor id, stored in a first-party cookie (
sd_vid) - the company behind the visitor's IP address, when our IP lookup knows it. ISPs and mobile networks are ignored.
The pixel does not try to find out who an individual visitor is.
Identifying people who tell you who they are
When someone fills in a form on your site, call:
<script>ReadyBuyerFinder.identify("[email protected]")</script>
That person's company and visits are then linked to that email.
Personalising your site
Add data-personalize to the script tag, or call ReadyBuyerFinder.personalize(), to change headlines and other text for visiting companies. It uses company facts only, never a person. See Website personalisation.
Your privacy notice
Mention ReadyBuyerFinder in your cookie banner and privacy notice as an analytics tool that identifies visiting companies (and, if you use it, personalises content for them). In the EU and UK, load the pixel only after the visitor consents.
Your match rate
Settings → Visitor match rate shows the last 30 days from your own traffic: visitors, how many we matched to a company, how many identified themselves, and why the rest weren't matched (home or mobile network, no lookup, no company website). These are your real numbers, not a promise.
