Funding round alerts: companies that just raised money

ReadyBuyerFinder is free; you pay third-party costs at cost. A company that has just raised money usually has a plan to spend it: new hires, new tools, new markets. ReadyBuyerFinder watches public funding news in India and worldwide, keeps the rounds raised by companies that fit your ideal customer profile, and tells you why each one scored the way it did.

Where the data comes from

SourceWhat we use
Inc42, Entrackr and YourStoryIndian startup news, read from their public RSS feeds. Amounts in crore and lakh are converted to US dollars.
TechCrunchStartup and venture news, from its public RSS feed.
SEC EDGAR Form DPublic filings by US companies for new securities offerings. A Form D is a filing, not always a venture round, so the lead shows it as "filed a Form D".
GDELT 2.0Open global news data, for funding announcements outside these feeds.

What counts

  • A headline that announces a round: raises, secures, bags, closes, Seed, pre-Series A, Series A to F, and similar wording.
  • The amount and the round, when the article states them. Your agent can set a minimum round size; smaller rounds with a known amount are dropped.
  • Only the company that raised. Before a signal becomes a lead, the AI noise filter reads it with your ICP and drops items that are about an investor (for example, a venture firm closing a new fund) or a publisher, with a one-line reason you can see.
  • Agents can be limited to regions. A US-only agent skips the Indian feeds, and an India-only agent skips SEC filings.

Agent setting: Minimum round size.

How it is scored

  • A fresh signal of this type adds 18 intent points by default (intent is capped at 40).
  • Points halve every 14 days: about 9 points after 14 days.
  • A second signal of the same type adds a quarter of its points.
  • Intent is added to fit (industry, size, location, technology, keywords, persona). You can change every weight on your ICP.

How scoring works

In the first message

The AI may mention the round only if it is in the lead's facts. Code then checks that every amount and every round name in the draft appears in those facts; if not, the draft goes to review and is never sent automatically.

What we don't use

  • Paid funding databases are not used for this signal.
